A Little Something for Denise Richards

Image
Once again thank you to everyone who commented, your feedback makes my life a little easier. It came down to another very close call..  I too was torn by the serene perfection of 'Blue'  and the charm and character of the nearly deserted 'Boardwalk' In the end I went with what I love most about travel, architecture and new places; character. In case you missed it, here's what I gifted Bethenny Frankel , Jenny McCarthy and most recently Genevieve Gordor . Image
It has happened again.. I have gotten the amazing opportunity to gift another celebrity courtesy of the fabulous Artisan Group. The lucky celebrity is a former Bond Girl and will always be famous for being a Wild Thing.. she is the mother of three beautiful girls and has the most gorgeous hair! Denise Richards. When I think of Denise Richards one of the first things I see is the beach. It could be because of the numerous bikini shots of her out there.. Keeping in mind my beach inspiration, here are my options Blue Glass Paved Lighthouse The Boardwalk The Hut The Shore Watering Tree What do you think? In case you missed it, here's what I gifted Bethenny Frankel , Jenny McCarthy and most recently Genevieve Gordor . HGTV Celebrity Gifting

The travel posts have come to an end.. thank you all for joining us on the trip and leaving your lovely comments.. I love reading each and everyone one of them.. as for my more silent readers.. I would love to hear what you have to say.. Today I bring you some awesome news.. courtesy of the fabulous Artisan Group I have gotten the spectacular opportunity to gift none other than one of the darlings of HGTV Genevieve Gordor. I love her sense of style, she creates gorgeous spaces and has such heart. And I don't want to get my expectations to high but this gifting could have great potential. She is an interior decorator and don't they always need some fabulous art for their clients homes? But lets not get ahead of ourselves.. I still have the hardest job ahead of me and here I am asking for your advice yet again.. which photograph should I give her? It needs to be the essence of what I represent as an artist, intriguing enough to make her want to check out my websit...

A Gift for Jenny McCarthy

Image
We are back from our trip and we had a blast.. can't wait to share pictures and stories with you all.. soon I hope. Till then.. A few weeks ago I had shared with you this terrific opportunity that had come my way thanks to The Artisan Group, sending a little something to Jenny McCarthy . A big thank you to everyone who had weighed in and helped me make this decision.. it was a pretty close call between two photographs and in the end I went with the always popular Sitting Blue .   I matted it this time instead of mounting it on wood. I hadn't been 100% satisfied with my gifting to Ms. Frankel . It had been my first time and there was too much self doubt involved in the process. This time around I was a bit, yes just a bit more confident. I included in the package a bio card (I stumbled upon a crazy deal of 30 free bio cards and all I had to do was pay shipping!) I wrote a little something from me to her on the back. And two business cards..  Wrap...

Jenny McCarthy

Yes, it has happened again.. I am on a lucky streak and I hope it never ends.. Thanks to The Artisan Group I have been given the opportunity to gift the fabulously funny Jenny McCarthy. Now from what I have been able to gather so far she does not like clutter. Her decor style is modern. She likes color and texture as well as nature.  So here's the breakdown: Modern: Down the Rabbit Hole Nature and Colorful (as colorful as my usual somber work is) Aloe     Dipped Purple   Growth  Colorful and Textural   Mosaic Entwined I need to pick one.. I am leaning toward the mosaic with the heart for the more sentimental reason of her being a mother, the mother of an autistic child. She is a strong woman, an advocate for not only her child but so many other children and their families.  What do you think? Any more ideas or suggestions?  A Facebook Fan suggested Sitting Blue . What do you think? ...

Celebrity Gift

I am a proud member of The Artisan Group who are a wonderfully supportive and informative group of talented artists. As if that wasn't great enough the group also creates opportunities for it's members to gift well known people, lets call them celebrities ; ) . I am excited to announce that I will be gifting the creator of Skinny Girl products and the star of Bethenny Ever After, Ms. Bethenny Frankel.  Now while this is great news and an amazing opportunity I am freaking out a little. I was always focused on getting the opportunity I never really thought about the next step, the picking of photographs. What to give, how to package, what to say in the included note?  I am not one for reality tv.. I am not interested in the Housewives of anywhere. But sometime ago I was watching an interview of hers and she said to 'never assume anyone is smarter than you' and those few words changed my perception of not just her but of myself and I thank her for that. I love it w...
