Thrifting and a Baby Bird
Hello June. I was influenced by Jeanette over at Net on the Net and went to my first estate sale. I was driving home, saw the sign and made a spontaneous stop. I wasn't really looking for anything.. and left empty handed. We also visited an annual sale hosted by a local historical society. We bought a little this and that. I haven't been very good about documenting our purchases. We have a church just a couple of minutes away that holds thrift sales every Saturday expect during the winter. Most my donations go to them and it is also our most visited one. I have bought more that a few things there but our best find yet? This $5 toaster. Mine was acting up and I had already ordered one (which I aptly returned). The husband bought this and put it up on the window above the kitchen sink. It's been a week and no birds?! Not a single one has visited. There are plenty in our backyard but they don't seem to be fans of the feeder. But in one of shrubs near our front...
