Obviously this is not a photograph.. but I still thought it was something I could share on Friday. Fresh out of college when I was still figuring things out, of what kind of artist I was I dabbled in some graphic design as well. I do not do it anymore.. I wish I had the time to dabble.. see how my style has evolved.. maybe one day.. for now I take you back to the early 2000's. All of these and many other products can be found on Redbubble and Zazzle .                                            Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle

If you recall the steam train I posted a few weeks ago.. well this was the interior of one of the train carriages. Both photographs are of the same carriage.. I shot both from the same place. The first is straight on with the color a true representation of the seats whereas the second was taken with a tilt of the camera and was given a sepia tone finish.  Do you prefer one of the other? I sold more prints of the first and I don't think any of the second. I personally love them both, they both have such different aesthetics.  The sepia prints can be purchased here and here                                The turquoise chairs prints can we purchased here and here                                           Etsy             Instagram     ...

When I started out with photography I was obsessed with taking close ups.. macro shots. This is a sepia mirror abstract of a ceiling in Iran. I visited a long long time ago and now don't even remember where I took it but I found it fascinating. It was not exactly successful as a photo print but with the help of   Zazzle   and   Redbubble   it can be places on hundreds of print on demand products.      Anything you like?                                                                     Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle

This photograph was taken in 2008. We took a little trip to Washington DC with some friends to see the cherry blossoms. It was so pretty. If you haven't been you really must. The planting of cherry trees in Washington DC originated in 1912 as a gift of friendship to the People of the United States from the People of Japan. The print is available on a variety of products and can be purchased here                              Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle

This is my last photograph from my hand series. It was part of a school project and I needed to have a certain amount of photographs and well I was struggling to fill in that last spot. So this was a little experiment. I found a pane of glass, painted my hand with red paint, a flashlight and well this was the result.  This print and other products can be purchased  here  and here .                                            Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle

Today I share another photograph from the archives. Also another photograph of a hand. This photograph was taken in Karachi in a wicker furniture makers workshop. It was a long time ago so I don't remember what it was that he was making but I remember the movement of his fingers, working so quickly weaving the bamboo.  Prints can be found here                                 Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle

This one is also from the archives. I love seeing the evolution of my work. I use to love to really zoom in on the details but now I often zoom out to get the bigger picture.  I took this one many many years ago, I was still in college and we went on a class trip to Iran. I know to many Iran sounds like a scary place but when we went some 18 years ago it was a beautiful place full of art and architecture. Yes, they were very strict about the hijab which was difficult for us because contrary to belief the hijab or burqa is not mandatory in Pakistan.  This picture is of a hand carved wall inside a mosque. I am fuzzy on the details but such details are very commonly found amongst Islamic architecture. While I no longer sell this photograph in my Etsy store it is available for purchase at Redbubble .   Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubb...

Things have been busy so I haven't had the time to edit any of the 1000's of photographs I have so I going back and pulling something out of my archives. This above photograph was taken over 17 years ago. It was taken for my college thesis. I had a photography minor and I did my final project on hands. This is my brothers hand and I remember taking it in the bathroom because we didn't want to accidentally set the house on fire.  While I no longer sell this one in my Etsy shop I do have it listed on Redbubble, You can find this picture on pillowcases, and blankets and shower curtains and many more products.  Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle             Society6
