Thanksgiving in New York City
Hello everyone! Hope all those celebrating had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It is getting cold here.. and while our initial plan was to embrace our inner sloths and chill out on a beach somewhere we had to change up our plans with D not allowed to partake in any water related activates. It was a no brainer to head to the city instead.. But that also meant a lot of walking.. in such instances M is never without a good pair of insoles . He is such a fan he wears them a ll the time, they are the best insoles for standing all day. The kids had a half day on Wednesday.. so once they got home we took a train into New York City. We spent the evening walking around downtown Manhattan. We choose to stay in the downtown area so that we could stay away from all the parade crowds. We grabbed a very not good meal, washed it down with some yummy Insomnia cookies and then walked along the Brooklyn Bridge at night. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving morning was rainy.
