Friday Photography
Today I share another photograph from the archives. Also another photograph of a hand. This photograph was taken in Karachi in a wicker furniture makers workshop. It was a long time ago so I don't remember what it was that he was making but I remember the movement of his fingers, working so quickly weaving the bamboo.
Love this shot!

Wow, once again. :D
ReplyDeleteGood shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating glimpse into craftsmanship! The speed and precision of the wicker furniture maker's hands must have been incredible to watch. The movement of fingers weaving bamboo sounds so fluid and skillful, capturing the essence of time and expertise. It's amazing how a single photograph can hold such a vivid memory of an experience, even if the exact details fade over time. It seems like a moment of art and craftsmanship frozen in time!

Awesome photo! I love seeing a working person's hands. I always loved my husband's hands when he worked in a warehouse and how rough they got. When he went corporate and used them less, it made me a little sad. Working hands are just beautiful to me.
