When the wall between our family room and kitchen see details here came down we had to deal with two different flooring, old carpet and newish laminate. The plan was to find the same laminate.. we found the box in the basement, how hard could it be? Harder than we thought.. that particular one had been discontinued.. and finding something similar was not an easy task.. Finding a flooring that was kind of close but not close enough would seem like a mistake.. so we decided to go different, this way it would seem like an intentional design choice.. I had always wanted a chocolaty dark floor.. The next thing to take into consideration was the transition between the two floors.. generally what is used it a T- Moulding, that strip you see in the above picture connecting the two floors together. Not the prettiest option. Pinterest to the rescue.. Adding tile to the mix would help to blend the two different brown together and there would be no awkward bump in t...

That's a very intriguing photo, Hena! It works stunningly as a curtain! xxx
ReplyDeleteWow, a ceiling fan! I really like the way it comes together as a print. The leggings option did make me laugh, though! (Not that I wouldn't get them; precisely because they're the type of pants I would have, which my sisters finds silly).
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool how it all turned out!
ReplyDeleteIt looks interesting as a shower curtain.
ReplyDeleteI like the pattern, the sepia color is interesting in paintings, but the other solutions presented are also very original!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
It's incredible how a photo can take on new life, even if it wasn't exactly what you had in mind at first. The sepia mirror shot has a unique abstract quality that gives it character, and it’s awesome that platforms like Zazzle and Redbubble help bring it to new audiences. It's a great reminder of how art can evolve over time.
ReplyDeleteAh yes macro shots can be really interesting and it is cool to crop it and see it from a different perspective. Good job!

ReplyDeleteI must ask, how do you afford all these fantastic trips? It's none of my business, of course, so please ignore my rude inquiry as you wish. Be well!
You have such a unique eye for photography. Most, like this one, I would not even think of photographing.
