Birthday Celebrations

Last week M and I both got a year older.. 

We started celebrating over the weekend. We went out to dinner at Deal Lake Co & Bar. Great vibe, killer playlist and melt in your mouth burgers. 

Afterwards we went to go watch the play Clue at our local theatre in Spring Lake. It was very enjoyable. And nothing ends a night better then some ice cream. We went to the nearby Hoffman's Ice Cream and they had such a great flavor selection, my salted caramel pretzel was excellent. 

On my actual birthday I picked up my free birthday Starbucks and wandered the aisles of Target in between running errands and cooking and all that other adult stuff.

and M brought home some of Melissa's bite sized cupcakes.

The next morning, after the last child had gotten on the bus I put on my sparkle boots (birthday present) and M and I went out for breakfast. We talked about making this a monthly thing.. 

Then later in the week we went out to one of our favorite local restaurants, 618.

The mocktails were so good.. usually they are a sugary fruit concoctions but these had a great kick.

We had a wonderful week of celebrating..
