Birthday Celebrations
Last week M and I both got a year older..
On my actual birthday I picked up my free birthday Starbucks and wandered the aisles of Target in between running errands and cooking and all that other adult stuff.
The next morning, after the last child had gotten on the bus I put on my sparkle boots (birthday present) and M and I went out for breakfast. We talked about making this a monthly thing..
Then later in the week we went out to one of our favorite local restaurants, 618.
We had a wonderful week of celebrating..
We started celebrating over the weekend. We went out to dinner at Deal Lake Co & Bar. Great vibe, killer playlist and melt in your mouth burgers.
Afterwards we went to go watch the play Clue at our local theatre in Spring Lake. It was very enjoyable. And nothing ends a night better then some ice cream. We went to the nearby Hoffman's Ice Cream and they had such a great flavor selection, my salted caramel pretzel was excellent.
and M brought home some of Melissa's bite sized cupcakes.
Then later in the week we went out to one of our favorite local restaurants, 618.
The mocktails were so good.. usually they are a sugary fruit concoctions but these had a great kick.
We had a wonderful week of celebrating..

ReplyDeleteBelated happy birthday wishes to both of you! I love your new boots!! Starbucks use to allow a bigger window of opportunity for redeeming a birthday drink. We don't have one in our town, so I can never get mine anymore.

Is there anything better than going to Target and browsing through all the isles? I've been missing Target terribly, and hope to visit soon. Those burgers look amazing! Happy birthday to you both! I love your sparkle boots! :) And I did the same thing on my birthday--went to Target to walk around and get my free Starbucks drink! Also, I love that there's a Clue play now. I was literally just talking to someone about the Super Nintendo version of Clue, which I played to death (...pun intended, I guess LOL!).
