Overwhelmed

I had a feel bad days last week.. nothing bad happened.. life was going on as usual but to me it felt unbearable.. In fact we had a great weekend, took the boys to a haunted house and they did not freak out. M and I had a date night.. but I just couldn't push away the dark thoughts.. and then I felt so ungrateful.. I am so blessed.. what could I possibly be upset about. If you are out there feeling blue.. you are not the only one.. we all have our moments, days..

I'm good now.. just thought I'd check in and share.

Thank you for this post, Hena! I too have felt like this lately and when you do feel like this, you feel isolated and alone. I really appreciate you sharing how you were feeling, so that other people can know they are not the only ones who have bad days. Glad to hear you're feeling good now. Thanks for checking in, Hena! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead! XXX

Days and sunlight are getting shorter and shorter now. I think the blues often accompanies autumn. I hope this coming week is better for you!

It happens! It's good to hear you've come out of it. Sometimes we all need a break!

Oh my gosh! Hena, I am totally going through the same thing right now. Thank you so much for posting this. Very timely indeed.

I can certainly relate to that Hena, as I've been having these off-kilter days as well. And it's good to know I'm not the only one. I've been blaming it on the time of year, and it having been dismal and dark outside. I'm sure it will pass, and that this week will be a better one for you! Sending hugs xxx

Thank you for sharing this and I'm glad that you're feeling much better now. Yes, I think we all have those times and we shouldn't be ashamed to admit it. I really like that last quote!

Ah yes I feel like this often, but with me it is not surprising as I faced a lot of hardship in life and do not have a lot in life either. And the world itself seems like it is going off a cliff. But in your case it could be hormonal, this happens to me as well. Also my advice? Do not watch the news and stay off social media for while or least sites that are about current events.

Thank you for being real, my friend.
And know you are not alone!
Somethings women don't talk about enough, and this is one of them.
Glad you are feeling better, and hugs!

glad you're feeling better :) i've been feeling overwhelmed and tired too and then ungrateful because too more work is not a bad thing right now. i've found that having a list of ways to self-care helps me so much when im feeling this way- i share 25 here: https://tps-steph.blogspot.com/2019/05/0037-25-ways-to-treat-yo-self.html

We all have those days (in fact, I was having one this morning). You just roll with them. Who knows why we do, but it happens. I'm glad it's a little better now. d

Thanks for sharing this. It's important for people to know they're not the only ones who have a dark day. Glad to hear you got through it.

Sorry you had a bad day despite everything fun going on - some days can be like that, don't be too hard on yourself! If every day was joyful we'd never appreciate it! :)

Hope that you had a great weekend :) Despite a bit of a rainy one we managed to get to the beach which was nice :)

I'm sorry you had a bad day. We all have them, but the important thing is to remember how blessed we are. I like the "tired" quote, cause these days, got a lot going on and I'm tired. : )

Happy November days, and thank you for all your visits. I really appreciate them.

I've been meaning to comment here for ages, when I first read your post. I hope you are feeling better today. Our lives are so busy, it is difficult to carve out time to reflect and just be. Life can be unbearable even under the most privileged circumstances. I sometimes think I should not allow dark thoughts in my life because really, my life is good. But then I think if I break my leg, it is still painful no matter how privileged I am and that also applies to my mental health. I hope I make any sense! Have a good weekend x
