Sick Day
So the little one brought home a cough last week..he's all better now.. but I got bronchitis and D has a touch of pneumonia.. :(
Have you guys seen Haunting of Hill House? M and I currently watching it.. not binging.. one nightmare inducing episode a night is really enough. It is very good.
I'm currently reading Next Year in Havana.. I am really liking it.. I am half way through. I especially am loving the historical aspect to it.. I am constantly finding myself wikipedia-ing things about Cuba while I read.
I'm currently drinking lots and lots of tea.. they have a tea for just about everything..
I've heard of the show, but not seen it. We can't stream, so we seldom watch Netflix series. I love historical fiction and the book looks great. I'll have to check it out more closely.
ReplyDeleteSorry y'all are under the weather. Hope everyone feels better soon!
The book looks great! I'll have to check it out. The show doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but the tea looks interesting for a sick throat. How's it working?
ReplyDeleteGotta love herbal teas especially in this season.

Hah! Sue could probably use that tea these days.
ReplyDeleteThat show looks scary! Your book intrigues me. I've seen it around. I think it'd be interesting to read about Cuba. Get well soon! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI only got one episode in on the Haunting show. I was so confused. I heard it takes a few episodes to really get into it.
ReplyDeleteWe have tea almost every day now that the weather is cold!! Stay well!!

Oh my gosh! Right after I saw The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, I binge-watched The Haunting! I loved loved loved this show so much, Hena:) I thought it was well-done. Even if the pacing of the first few episodes was too slow for me at some point, I love the back stories of the twins and the Bent-Neck Lady episode was 10/10!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping when you read this you are feeling much much better. It's hard to rest as a mom (if you ask me!). Take care!
ReplyDeleteBronchitis is the worst! Hope you and little D are resting well and feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
