                              This beautiful mosaic was found in Antoni Gaudi's Guell Parc in Barcelona, Spain. For those unfamiliar with Gaudi, he was a Spanish architect and designer, famous for his unique and innovative architecture, heavily influenced by nature and the Catalan Modernisme movement.                                I took this photograph in Amsterdam . We visited once in 2009 pre blog days and again in 2012 as a quick layover. In our second apartment..we were in our first for only a few months and no decorating had been done. But in our second apartment.. the apartment D had been born in we lived there for over 3 years. In our bedroom we had hung a cute little IKEA chandelier . And one day.. laying in bed, looking up at it I took this picture. Obviously this is not a photograph.. but I still thought it was something I could share on Friday. Fresh out of college when I was still figuring things out, of what kind of artist I was I dabbled in some graphic design as well. I do not do it anymore.. I wish I had the time to dabble.. see how my style has evolved.. maybe one day.. for now I take you back to the early 2000's. If you recall the steam train I posted a few weeks ago.. well this was the interior of one of the train carriages. Both photographs are of the same carriage.. I shot both from the same place. The first is straight on with the color a true representation of the seats whereas the second was taken with a tilt of the camera and was given a sepia tone finish.  Do you prefer one of the other? I sold more prints of the first and I don't think any of the second.
