Obviously this is not a photograph.. but I still thought it was something I could share on Friday. Fresh out of college when I was still figuring things out, of what kind of artist I was I dabbled in some graphic design as well. I do not do it anymore.. I wish I had the time to dabble.. see how my style has evolved.. maybe one day.. for now I take you back to the early 2000's. All of these and many other products can be found on Redbubble and Zazzle .                                            Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle

If you recall the steam train I posted a few weeks ago.. well this was the interior of one of the train carriages. Both photographs are of the same carriage.. I shot both from the same place. The first is straight on with the color a true representation of the seats whereas the second was taken with a tilt of the camera and was given a sepia tone finish.  Do you prefer one of the other? I sold more prints of the first and I don't think any of the second. I personally love them both, they both have such different aesthetics.  The sepia prints can be purchased here and here                                The turquoise chairs prints can we purchased here and here                                           Etsy             Instagram     ...

Chug a Chug Chug - This is a photograph of the Essex Steam Train taken in Essex, Connecticut. I took this photograph in 2008 during a road trip M and I took through New England. This is a Valley Railroad #97, a vintage 2-8-0 "Consolidation" type steam locomotive, built in 1923 by the American Locomotive Company. It's one of the few operational steam locomotives in the United States, consuming 2 tons of coal per day to produce the steam that powers it. It is primarily used for special events like the North Pole Express.  You can buy this print  here . Get Free Shipping with code BLOGGER Prints also available in larger sizes. Here's another close up shot..I really enjoyed zooming in on things when I started taking photographs. Focus on the patterns others usually didn't. This is a photograph of a building in Florida. M had a conference and we were in a pre kids phase of our life so I had tagged along. This was the hotel we stayed in. I no longer have this print listed on Etsy but  Zazzle  and    Redbubble   allow me to experiment with it on other products.                                             Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle

When I started out with photography I was obsessed with taking close ups.. macro shots. This is a sepia mirror abstract of a ceiling in Iran. I visited a long long time ago and now don't even remember where I took it but I found it fascinating. It was not exactly successful as a photo print but with the help of   Zazzle   and   Redbubble   it can be places on hundreds of print on demand products.      Anything you like?                                                                     Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle

This photograph was taken in 2008. We took a little trip to Washington DC with some friends to see the cherry blossoms. It was so pretty. If you haven't been you really must. The planting of cherry trees in Washington DC originated in 1912 as a gift of friendship to the People of the United States from the People of Japan. The print is available on a variety of products and can be purchased here                              Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle
