Have you heard of 'pareidolia'? It is the psychological tendency to perceive meaningful images, shapes, or patterns in random, ambiguous, or inanimate objects. The most common example is "face pareidolia"—seeing faces in things like electrical outlets, car grilles, or even clouds.

I spotted this exposed water pipes, rust stains and I saw the sadness, the crying face. Do you see faces in things?

You've certainly got a great eye for an unusual photograph ... but doesn't it work well!

  5. I do see faces in odd places. I just didn't know that had a name. The ingenuity of someone turning the image of those rusty water pipes into a product is so clever.

  6. I immediately saw a face crying before even reading the post! It's so funny what our brains do without us even purposely thinking it.

  12. Yes, I often see images in the skies, clouds, and even in painted walls and flooring. I found out recently that there was a name for it, and I was pleased about that. That's a neat picture of the water pipes.
