An Early Father's Day
We will be busy this Father's Day so we thought to celebrate early. On Friday all the mom's in our group sent the dads out for a guys night. They got foot massages, pizza and the played pool.
On Sunday we went out for breakfast..
The boys order the most over the top sugar bombs that we are going to pretend are breakfast. These weren't even the craziest things on the menu.

That sounds like such a wonderful early father's day weekend! We went strawberry picking on Thursday and it was amazing how quick and easy it was this year. The orchard told us it had been an unusually ideal growing season for strawberries.
ReplyDeleteI have never ever seen a breakfast so loaded with sugar! Golly! Happy father's day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Father's Day to your hubby! The breakfast looks more like dessert.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, love the shots of the family picking strawberries.
Take care, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.
Celebrating early is the absolute smartest way to beat the rush, and a guys' night of foot massages and pool is top-tier pampering for the dads! Those breakfast sugar bombs look incredibly delicious honestly, if you can't go completely over-the-top for a special occasion, when can you? Ending the weekend with strawberry picking is such a classic, sweet tradition to round out the fun.

ReplyDeleteThose breakfast sugar bombs would be great for dessert but not (in my opinion) for breakfast. Our strawberry picking days are over; I'm not sure we even have any in our part of New York State any more. But we do love fresh strawberries and I've already eaten some today.
