Friday Photography
Another hand photograph from the archives. In South Asia, on joyous occasions like weddings we purchase garlands made of rose and place them around the necks of the happy couple. There are different types of garlands made for different occasions. This photograph is off a man's hands as he is threading roses onto a string onto thread.
This print can be purchased here.
It looks effective and tells a story.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet garland to receive!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tradition! There’s something so special about the symbolism of flowers, especially in celebrations like weddings. The craftsmanship and care that go into making these garlands must be incredible to witness. I love the idea of capturing hands at work—it tells such a rich story. Looking forward to seeing more from your archives!
