Camden Children's Garden
Sometime ago I had found some tickets for Camden's Children's Garden and we picked a nice warm September day (sorry these trips are months old but time is not my friend and things pile up..) and headed over for a few hours. It was a small cute place for little kids.. six or seven being the oldest. It's right next to the Adventure Aquarium which we haven't been to in a while and hope to go back soon.
The boy's started the day with the splash pad which surprisingly initially freaked our always ready for adventure H out a bit.
After drying off and a change of clothes we went off to explore the rest of the small park. We found Poe, upcycled animal creations and D's favorite a train!
The boy's started the day with the splash pad which surprisingly initially freaked our always ready for adventure H out a bit.
There was a carousel and an Alice and Wonderland themed area with giant tea cups and a giant up cycled from car parts dinosaur and a Butterfly Pavilion.. plus a few more..
The place has I'm sure seen better days.. but on a nice sunny days it's a great place for the kids to spend a few hours.
This looks like such a lovely family outing!!

I wish we had parks like that here so I could take my nieces and nephews :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a family friendly place. All little ones want to do is climb and touch.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of you and your husband in the huge chair! And I actually like how you wait awhile to post these trips. Being that it's cold outside now, and the days are shorter, it's nice to look back and see all the fun you and your family had when the days were longer and warmer!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!! I love the pics. Thanks for sharing.
