The Story Of Us

Other than the travelling there has been so much going on lately.. that I really haven't had the chance to sit and think about it. Remember all home projects I had been talking about in the winter well they are both done.. finished.. phew. One still requires some finishing touches.. but then again the process of decorating never truly ends.. does it? And in celebration of finally being done we thought we'd start another one.. who needs to relax right? I hope to share the spaces in the next few weeks.. just need to get all the pictures in order. Below is the mess that is our next project. I am trying to spring clean.. not the on my hands and knees scrubbing kind but more of the declutter and either try to sell or donate all the things we do not need, use etc. I just donated one huge bag of things a few weeks ago and i'm sure there is more to come.. I am trying to sell some on ebay.. a lttle extra cash never hurt. You can check out some of the things we're selling

It's been a while since I have done a lately post.. truth be told there has been a lot going on around here.. and I am still playing catch up. D started pre k! We have been making weekly trips to our library and reading all kinds of fun new books at bedtime. H is growing and learning everything so fast.. he is becoming quite the trouble maker This past month we had family visit and took a few fun day trips with them which I will hopefully share soon.. and spent a a few days at Niagara Falls.. details to come. lately it seems like there is so much going on..my new large dry erase calendar which I love is full.. but really not a lot has been going on if you know what I mean.. With one set of parents leaving last one another arrived this month. M's parents will be here with us for the next few months and D is over joyed. With M working and I a little preoccupied with H now D has someone to play with, tell his stories to and with the weather getting better someone to go outside with.. that's what our drive way looks like right now Speaking of D.. the busy little boy that he is has birthday party invites for every weekend, I had to turn down a few invites because our little guy has started to play some sports every Saturday afternoon for the next few weeks, around the same time most birthday parties are being held. I have still not unpacked everything.. somehow it just doesn't seem to be my top priority. I have managed to gag and blind my inner neat freak.. not sure how.. I'm just as surprised. I am trying to rest.. everything hurts and my Braxton Hicks are oddly annoying and persistent this time around. Last time I hardly felt them.. and when they aren't acting up the kid goes on a kicking spree! D started school and I am still driving around the neighborhood with my GPS trying to figure things out. We are also planning our first renovation.. key word planning.. hoping to start executing soon. : D I have been cooking.. We played our first board game. And D is showing independence and growth.. he's our little helper.. even when him helping means more work.
