Image
A Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating. Hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with love and laughter and of course good food.  I will be a bit irregular in posting for the rest of the year. We have two more trips planned and a lot of other gatherings and meet ups planned. I will try to be a bit more regular on Instagram so feel free to follow. So I wish you all a happy holiday season as well. Be well my friends.                                Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle             Society6

Friday Photography

Image
I am going to be sharing another one from the archives. This above photograph was taken in in Shiraz, Iran in 2007. Shiraz is the fifth most populous city in Iran and known as the city of literature and poets. It is also known for it's beautiful gardens.  We were visiting Iran on a school trip and this was taken at the Mausoleum of Saadi, a famous Iranian poet from the 13th century. Now I don't know much about the poet but back in his day we was considered a master of speech. The print is available for purchase here                     Etsy             Instagram             Twitter             Redbubble             Zazzle             Society6

Five Fun Days in Miami

Image
Hello, how is everyone doing? Things have been busy here.. those familiar with D's eye condition (yes we are still going through that) well last month progress had come to a bit of a stand still. So the doc prescribed a pill to get things moving along.. well, while the pill did work on the eye it also gave him debilitating headaches. He missed a lot of school and while he has been strong and positive through this whole ordeal he reached his limit. He lost hope, there was a lot of anger and we struggled with him. The medication has been discontinued and he is feeling more like his old self. But we needed a break.. get out of the depressive funk we were all under.. especially since he had an MRI scheduled when we got back (waiting on results so keep those positive thoughts coming)  Kids had a few days off so off to Miami we went. We flew out election night to keep all the crazy away and pretty much ignored the news till the next morning. Not going to waste time on that.. this was sup...
