The Story Of Us

I have been on one awesome lucky streak. Just last week I managed to kill several threadkillers over at Etsy and now one by one my wonderful winnings are arriving in the mail. And I couldn't be more thrilled. So far I have received two gorgeous pairs of earrings. The first from the wonderful IHeartHandmadeGoods And another from the equally wonderful TwilightVisions And when I thought this week couldn't get any better I just made a huge sale. I sold the photograph Saved! as a large 16x24 print, both matted and framed to the amazing fellow Etsian Linda of AdultIndulgences Wishing you all a great week and an even greater weekend. For those of you on the east coast..we are finally going to have some sun and warmth so enjoy!

We had three wonderful days of sun and warmth and then just like that the clouds came rolling in and rain came pouring down. Hubby is having a crazy month at work.. so he comes home late which I hate but only a few more days left.. The weekend was pretty much a blur so on Sunday afternoon I decided to go into the city and meet him after work.. but with train problems making it the longest train ride ever! Afternoon became evening and the sun disappeared and a chilly wind picked up.. what was supposed to be an afternoon spent in central park turned out to be snuggling together as we walked to the wonderful Chilly Thai. It is a narrow hallway sized resturaunt serving delish thai food.. And here we are in the middle of another week just waiting for the weekend again. As for today, I had a glucose test where you drink this sweet drink and sit there for an hour afterwhich they draw blood.. hope it comes back negative.. if not I have to go in again and this time sit there for 3 hours. Not

I can say this without a doubt, the best way to wake up is to a sale. There's a flutter in your stomach, a smile on your face and in your heart, never outloud you quote Sally Field and say 'You like me, you really like me' or my work that is. And it never gets old. I have not yet, nor hope to ever be jaded enough to say.. 'hmm another sale, whatever' I was lucky enough to wake up to that fluttering feeling today.
