Eee - On our bedside table we have these transparent glass lamps, lamps that have no bottom. So when we came across these ping pong sized balls with alphabets on them we took them as an opportunity to be cutesy we filled each of our lamps with the others name. These are those alphabet balls. Down the Rabbit Hole - It was taken in 2009 when M and I did our big European adventure. Before we had kids and before I was so active on his blog. I wish I had been more active, wish i had had a better documentation on the trip. I remember having taken notes on a piece of paper somewhere.. jotting down where we ate etc.. Now if only i knew where that piece of paper was! A simple oblong staircase in the Vatican Museum. I liked the simplicity of it. It was more modern and less fancy than the more famous staircase of the Vatican Museum. While people were all over the latter, the former staircase, my subject matter was left alone, not a sole insight. Down the Rabbit Hole can be purchase here Your walls not ready for some art? How about a cute pencil skirt , a bag or tote , maybe something for your phone ? Get my post directly in you inbox with  Bloglovin I am now on Instagram .. Colorless Country Day was taken in the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown, New York. This was the first road trip we took with D. We stepped back in time to rural life in America with blacksmiths, an alchemists, sheep shearers and horse drawn buggies. This photograph was taken in the balcony of the cafe, the dark shuttered windows against the white paneled wall with seats for sitting and enjoying the lovely view. This photograph can be purchase here  and to read up more about our trip to Upstate New York click here Get my post directly in you inbox with  Bloglovin I am now on Instagram .. Date Night

Image
We don't do it often enough.. we have never used a babysitter.. so when any of our parents are visiting we try to squeeze in a date night or two.. catch a movie, get a massage or dinner for two. It's always initially weird like something is missing.. we don't seem to know what do do with ourselves. No one to feed, to take to the potty, no one to entertain but ourselves. Just us.. him and I.. we can finish a sentence without interference, we can hear each other speak, no one to shush... we had our last one a month or so ago.. what we hardly ever remember to do during all the sneaking out of the house before D spots us is take a picture of just us.. him and I. In fact it's something we forget to do even when we go out as a family.. it is usually him or I taking the picture.. and if we do by some miracle happen to both be in the same photograph.. together there is always a child in the mix.. we need to start taking more.. at least one picture of just him and I during any o
