Friday Photography


This is another photograph taken in Portugal. It was taken inside the Belem Tower. The tower symbolizes Portugal's maritime and colonial power in early modern Europe. The tower features a single, steep, narrow spiral staircase connecting its five floors, leading to an open-air terrace at the top.

  3. I've always loved the look and the idea of circular staircases, but actually going up and down one is a pain in the butt.
