A Time for Puzzles

First I would like to reach out to anyone in Florida or has family and friends in Florida.. I hope everyone is safe and minimally affected by the storm.  Soon the days will be getting shorter.. and the days a little cooler. Nothing says fall like curling up with a good book or relaxing with a great big puzzle. Two Days in Mykonos Greece

On our way back from Karachi we always try to take a little side trip. Something to help us unwind from all the craziness of that trip. The first time we made a three day stop in Istanbul , the time after that we spent five days in Denmark . This time we spent nine days in Greece.  M obviously did not have that many vacation days so he spent the first week in Karachi working from home. :( We left Karachi in the wee hours of the night, we flew Turkish Air and landed in Turkey in the morning. After a four hour layover we arrived in Athens in the afternoon. We made the executive decision to not do anything that night. We checked into a lovely boutique hotel - Estia Boutique Apartments, in a slightly sketchy (up and coming) neighborhood just a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle. Family Time in Karachi

After 6 years we finally made a trip back  home! We were planning to go three years ago but remember that little things called Covid, yup we were in lockdown that year and had to cancel everything.  By home I mean Karachi, Pakistan. While I didn't call Pakistan my home until I was 10 when my dad uprooted us from our life in Chicago and decided to move back. In fact I'm pretty sure I still didn't call it home for several years finding it difficult to fit in and adjust to such a drastic change. But I am so happy that my dad did what he did, I was able to get the best of both worlds. M on the other had was born and raised in Karachi, work took him outside the country for the first time and from London to Singapore he finally landed in America.  While Pakistan is a beautiful country it is many other third world nations, plagued with corruption, stuck under the foot of first world nations like America who uses it as a pawn against Afghanistan, China and Russia and Britain who co
