The Story Of Us

Obviously this is not a photograph.. but I still thought it was something I could share on Friday. Fresh out of college when I was still figuring things out, of what kind of artist I was I dabbled in some graphic design as well. I do not do it anymore.. I wish I had the time to dabble.. see how my style has evolved.. maybe one day.. for now I take you back to the early 2000's. If you recall the steam train I posted a few weeks ago.. well this was the interior of one of the train carriages. Both photographs are of the same carriage.. I shot both from the same place. The first is straight on with the color a true representation of the seats whereas the second was taken with a tilt of the camera and was given a sepia tone finish.  Do you prefer one of the other? I sold more prints of the first and I don't think any of the second. When I started out with photography I was obsessed with taking close ups.. macro shots. This is a sepia mirror abstract of a ceiling in Iran. I visited a long long time ago and now don't even remember where I took it but I found it fascinating.                                This is my last photograph from my hand series. It was part of a school project and I needed to have a certain amount of photographs and well I was struggling to fill in that last spot. So this was a little experiment.
