These 20 questions make for a wonderful scrapbook! I did that with my granddaughter when she was little. 20 years from now it will be fun to have a look back and see how things change! Great post!

This is great, Hena! I should do the same with Dagny and Rhett! The answers when he was four made me laugh. Paw Patrol, hahhaa! Our grandson Andrew (now 12) was obsessed with it. For Dagny it was Peppa Pig, but with Rhett we're back to Marshall and Skye and Rubble and the gang! Good clean fun. xoxo

It's nice to get to know some of the things he likes and dislikes. I love the color red too - flowers, birds, and clothes! Cute picture of him, and that looks like mac and cheese.....YUM!

I love this idea! I wish I had thought of it for my daughter when she was younger, she's ten now. I can still do it of course, but it would have been so fun to see her answers change drastically through the years.

What fun this was to read. Dara at Not in Jersey does something similar with her children and their answers are always fun to read, too. Might need to implement this idea with my grands on their birthdays. Thanks for the inspiration.

When the wall between our family room and kitchen see details here came down we had to deal with two different flooring, old carpet and newish laminate. The plan was to find the same laminate.. we found the box in the basement, how hard could it be? Harder than we thought.. that particular one had been discontinued.. and finding something similar was not an easy task..  Finding a flooring that was kind of close but not close enough would seem like a mistake.. so we decided to go different, this way it would seem like an intentional design choice.. I had always wanted a chocolaty dark floor.. The next thing to take into consideration was the transition between the two floors.. generally what is used it a T- Moulding, that strip you see in the above picture connecting the two floors together. D's Amazing Race Party

Last weekend our eldest turned 9.. and we threw him an amazing race birthday party! As with all the boys other parties.. I bought a plain white cake from Wegmans and let D decorate it himself. We had a total of nine kids.. they picked bandanna's out of a bag to create 3 teams. First Task Not all the kids knew each other.. they were too amped up with the idea of winning that they couldn't manage to calm down and read the clue.. so we had to really guide them through it.. they made mistakes and we let it go.. it seemed a tad chaotic..  Second Task I had 33 little medicine cups filled with M&M's and Goldfish crackers.. 6 of them had stickers on the bottom. The first two teams found the sticker in the first try... what are the odds!? And the third team had to eat a lot of snacks before they finally found their sticker. Third Task I bought 48 piece puzzles from the Dollar Tree. The boys took their time making ...
