Toys For 3 Year Olds
My brother is coming to visit next week and my mom later in the month and they both very conveniently task me with buying the boys a little something from them. D is easy; books, puzzles, board games. He is the eldest so we are always looking to bring new things into the home allowing new experiences.

H is a little harder. We still have so many of D's toddler toys around the house that rarely think of getting him something. I know.. I feel the guilt. So the past few days I have been on the look out for toys for 3 year old boys
My go to when picking a toy is always something educational.. I love a great puzzle or building toys.
Don't let that smile fool you.. I made those foam block castles, he's just waiting for me to give him the go so he can destroy my creations lol.
This is also a great time to introduce the little guy to some board games. I still remember D's first board game at age 3 was Richard Scarry's Busytown, H on the other hand totally gets a kick out of Perfection, I'm thinking he might like the Sneaky Squirrel Game
He is more a man of action while D is our thinker. H loves his tools, lawn mowers and loves being outside
So many options!! I don't think I am any closer to making a decision but I've got tons of food for thought.
We have the Very Hungry Caterpillar board game which has been a family favourite with all four kids. It might appeal to your little one. We hardly ever buy toys for our youngest, the house if full of treasure with three older siblings. I do sometimes feel guilty but he doesn't seem to mind one way or other.
ReplyDeleteThese are all too cute. I love the Melissa and Doug line.:)

Great gift ideas! The little lawn mower is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteMy gosh what fun toys! One thing I regret is not playing with my girls more when they were young. I was stressed out and tired. But oh well, it is what it is. I'd to get our family more games to play. We only have Life, Monopoly, Connect Four, and Jenga. I need to institute a family game night each month.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for your nice comments on my jumper. I'll have to ponder on how to wear it. I do need some new jeans which I think was my original idea.
DeleteSo adorable!
ReplyDeleteGod bless,

ReplyDeleteGreat! Sneaky Snacky Squirrel is a fave around here.
ReplyDeleteFor board games, my kids like Hoot Owl Hoot and Race to the Treasure....both cooperative games so no one breaks down in tears at the end of it.
ReplyDeleteYes my boys have loved tools of any sort and that Melissa and doug tile puzzle set. Great options!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE the sneaky snarky squirrel game in our house!
ReplyDeleteThese games look so fun. I bet he really enjoyed knocking down those foam walls.

I am happy to read your article.
ReplyDeleteThanks for share the article.
Thank you so much.
Thanks for sharing! I don't think you can beat wooden and role play toys. The kids create a different story and game every day.
