This past week almost all the leaves fell off our trees.. Especially the bright red leaves of the big Japanese maple in our backyard.
Friday afternoon right after school we thought we'd take a jump in the leaves, before they had to be raked, bagged and taken away.

So glad we took out the time to do so.. the weekend got cold and wet and all the leaves blew away.
Fall leaves are fun for outdoor play! I remember raking the front yard when I was little, but we did it just so that we could build the piles and then jump in them.

I love these photos. You all look like you enjoyed yourself in the leaves. I really like Japanese maples, they're beautiful all year but they're just spectacular in the fall, aren't they!

ReplyDeleteawww....we never go to jump in the leaves. When we came back from vacation, all the leaves in our yard have been cleaned by the lawn guys. The kids missed out, but the hubs was happy.

ReplyDeleteI remember the days with endless leaves falling down...we had fun playing in them as well, but boy oh boy was it a lot of work. We saved some for mulch but still had more to give away. Happy Falling!
