It's been almost a month since my last post.. trust me it seems longer..and i am so glad to be back.. These last few weeks have been really crazy. The Holy month of Ramadan started..for those who don't know it's the month of fasts and prayers. The fasting was not hard after I got used to the no coffee in the morning and we only have 6 more days of fasting left. Not so bad. Speaking of bad, my hard drive crashed, my external harddrive that had 6 years of work accumulated on it and which I had stupidly..yes i admit very very stupidly had not back uped anywhere else. I have so learned my lesson. After the shock wore away I did my research and finally found someone to help we fix it.. he couldn't and instead of returning it evaded my calls for over a week. Once I got it back I sent it to the wonderful Cherry Systems in Atlanta who have recovered all my files and will be mailing them over to me soon.. phew what a relief. Now I plan to back up my back ups. Just when I tho

This Saturday my husband and I joined the Westfield, NJ Photowalk for 2 full hours of walking and photographing.It was a pleasant afternoon and I took almost 200 photographs and am now going through the neverending task of weeding out the not so good ones and working on the decent ones. In the end I have to pick 2 to submit to the photowalk website. Those 2 will make up the 100 that all the Westfield Photowalk participants took. Bear with me while I explain the maths of it all. 1 of these 100 pictures will be selected to represent Westfield. 900 cities are participating meaning 900 pictures of which 1 will win the grand prize and there will be 10 honorable mentions, lots of prizes included. Now I have narrowed down my photographs to 20 something.. I have till Saturday to submit my final 2 picks and need a little help. Tell me in the comment section which ones you like and which you don't. I need all the help I can get.

Wow, so ecstatic. I had currently taken part in an online photography auction. I had prepared myself for failure, I had expected zero interest and even less sales. February is a a big month in our house.. we have so much to celebrate. I celebrate a birthday and while I'm not there yet.. next year I'll be celebrating a big milestone birthday with a big 0 at the end.. yikes. M celebrates his birthday the very minutes mine comes to an end.. so it's a two day celebration.. though sometimes we celebrate just all week long. :) We also got engaged during this fabulous month.. and then there is Valentine's Day which honestly just gets over shadowed by all the other awesomeness of the month.
