Friday Photography

This was taken in Aruba. It was a hike or near a fort.. we had rented a car for the day.. this is back in 2011. D's first beach vacation. This particular set of stacked rocks caught my eye because it looked like the bust of a man, bent over, a little hunched I thought.. weight on his shoulders.

A unique photo my friend. I love the clouds. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, it does look like a man's head. The rock looks volcanic.

I really enjoy photographs that leave room for interpretation and this one does exactly that. The way you describe the rocks makes the image feel emotional rather than simply scenic because it carries a quiet human presence. Travel memories from years ago often become more meaningful with time and this post captures that feeling beautifully. Aruba already has such striking landscapes, but noticing details like this gives the experience much more depth. I recently shared a new post on my blog as well and would love for you to take a look when you have a moment www.melodyjacob.com
It's a very nice photo. I love the dark colors set on a light blue sky.
Such an amazing image, Hena! xxx

Yes, I noticed the shape of the head and shoulders as well.
I think it looks especially nice on the notebook.

Such a beautiful shot. I wonder what type of rock it is? Maybe Basalt? Gorgeous with the clouds and blue sky behind it.
