lately
Hello hello.. how is everyone doing?
M went on three trips this month and they all happened to be back to back. He flew to a conference in Europe and a friends reunion in Morocco and then another conference in Florida.
Before he left we went out for date night. We went to our local favorite.. 618. They food is great.. and has gorgeous decor.
D has been working on his bowling skills in preparation for bowling season in his high school. We go to the local bowling alley at least twice and week... more if we could manage it and on Thursday he scored his first 159.
And now M and H are both under the weather. M is all mucusy and H has a fever.
On Thursday we had tickets to see the Rangers game. So I drove into the city with the boys. I have a bunch of videos of our past Rangers games on my stories tab on Instagram.. Our first dating back to 2017! Check em out here.
We did not win. It was a tight game.. 5 - 5 and the San Jose Sharks beat us in overtime.
I sold my 239th photograph. I am often surprised by the things that sell and those that don't.
Oh and how pretty are these peppers M picked up from the farmers market?
I just bought an Instapot.. haven't used it yet. Do you have one? What is your favorite thing to make with it?

The capsicum do look good, something I use often in cooking.
ReplyDeleteHope you all stay well.
Our granddaughters are in band in junior high here. Marching bands aren’t part of the band experience here though. It is too cold for it. What fun to attend the game with the boys!
ReplyDeletewhat fun! I have never had an instapot but I cannot wait to see what you make and what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat is that pretty thing that looks like an ice cream in a cone?
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Looks like you all had a good time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful peppers! I guess respiratory season has officially started ):
ReplyDeleteI don't have an instapot -- not enough room to store it! Love those peppers -- the multicolors always look so great in your food. It sounds like you've had a busy and fun life of late and you can't ask for more than that!
ReplyDeleteI love a beautiful-looking pepper! The colors are so vibrant.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the sale of your photos, that is great!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed that first photo. So sweet you two lovebirds.
Saw some blue bell peppers the other day on our farmer market too. Looks like that you had a some busy and fun time.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of photos, well done!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful photo of you and your husband! X
Well done on selling your 239th photo, Hena!
ReplyDeleteThat mocktail looks very pretty indeed. I hope it tasted as good as it looks :)
Sorry to hear that M and H are both under the weather. Here's to hoping that D and yourself will be spared! xxx
That mocktail looks amazing! I bowled on a team for a very brief time, but always thought it was fun. 159 is a very respectable score, IMO! Hope the guys are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy. Will your kiddo do marching band when he's in high school? It's quite the experience. (Speaking from experience...)
ReplyDeleteHow nice that middle school band got to play with the big kids.
ReplyDeleteI do have an instapot and used the yoghurt function more than anything else. Lovely photos once again.
ReplyDeleteI've always thought hockey was a neat sport. That's fun that the middle school band got to play with the high school band at Homecoming. Sounds like a nice date night. And I just got all those bell peppers at the store today too. There are so many dishes I make with them. Enjoy the remaining October days.

ReplyDeleteLovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWay to go on selling so many photos! Sorry to hear the boys are under the weather. That mocktail looks incredible!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've had some great times "lately." :) That decor does look gorgeous! And hope you enjoy the Instant Pot. It's something I use often from making full meals (soups, meat for putting together "burrito bowls," ribs, mac and cheese) to reheating leftovers. There are even recipes for cheesecake and it does turn out! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I used to love to go bowling. Congrats on selling your photo. Take care, enjoy your day and have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a busy sounding month. So sorry to hear both boys are under the weather; hopefully they'll rally soon.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been having a busy and fun time of it. Hope everyone is getting better now.
ReplyDeletecheers

Love your pictures! That mocktail looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful date night! Seeing your son playing in the band makes me miss the times when my kids were younger and played in the band. Good times!

That drink is so pretty! I grew up in Flyers country and when I was in highschool sat next to the coach's son in homeroom for four years so learned a lot about hockey : ) I'm still a fan. I don't have an insta pot but my girls do and use it some. They use the air fryer more which is another appliance I don't own, but might consider. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThat mocktail looks really incredible!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely catch up! I'm so glad you and your hubby enjoyed a date night! It's so important to have focused time together :-)
ReplyDeleteI do hope your kiddos feel better soon! We've had the crud here too and it is no fun.
Have a wonderful day and week ahead!
Some beautiful pictures and fun times.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your wonderful photo sales! I bet it is surprising what sells.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are doing great. I hope they enjoy their activities.
Those peppers do look so pretty. I bought an instapot years ago. Ended up never using it and selling it at our yard sale ;p Hope you'll get more use out of yours.
ReplyDeleteThat mocktail does look so nice! As do those peppers :) Congrats on selling your 239th photograph and hope M and H feel better soon!
