This beautiful mosaic was found in Antoni Gaudi's Guell Parc in Barcelona, Spain. For those unfamiliar with Gaudi, he was a Spanish architect and designer, famous for his unique and innovative architecture, heavily influenced by nature and the Catalan Modernisme movement. His iconic work is characterized by its organic forms, vibrant colors, and intricate details, which can be seen in famous Barcelona landmarks like the incomplete Basílica de la Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà.

What a beautiful mosaic! The colors are so vibrant and the details are amazing. I've heard of Gaudí before, but I didn't know much about his style or how he was influenced by nature. This makes me want to visit Barcelona and see all his buildings in person. Thanks for sharing this!

Such a stunning find. Gaudí’s work is always so mesmerizing every detail feels alive with color and movement. Park Güell is like stepping into a dream, and the mosaics are such a beautiful expression of his creativity and love for nature. Barcelona is truly lucky to have his masterpieces scattered across the city.

When the wall between our family room and kitchen see details here came down we had to deal with two different flooring, old carpet and newish laminate. The plan was to find the same laminate.. we found the box in the basement, how hard could it be? Harder than we thought.. that particular one had been discontinued.. and finding something similar was not an easy task..  Finding a flooring that was kind of close but not close enough would seem like a mistake.. so we decided to go different, this way it would seem like an intentional design choice.. I had always wanted a chocolaty dark floor.. The next thing to take into consideration was the transition between the two floors.. generally what is used it a T- Moulding, that strip you see in the above picture connecting the two floors together. D's Amazing Race Party

Last weekend our eldest turned 9.. and we threw him an amazing race birthday party! As with all the boys other parties.. I bought a plain white cake from Wegmans and let D decorate it himself. We had a total of nine kids.. they picked bandanna's out of a bag to create 3 teams. First Task Not all the kids knew each other.. they were too amped up with the idea of winning that they couldn't manage to calm down and read the clue.. so we had to really guide them through it.. they made mistakes and we let it go.. it seemed a tad chaotic..  Second Task I had 33 little medicine cups filled with M&M's and Goldfish crackers.. 6 of them had stickers on the bottom. The first two teams found the sticker in the first try... what are the odds!? And the third team had to eat a lot of snacks before they finally found their sticker. Third Task I bought 48 piece puzzles from the Dollar Tree. The boys took their time making ...
