  17. That is beautiful. It seems there is always green, even around the hills in Scotland. All my children are part Scottish on their father's side. It's a wonderful heritage.

  35. Hey I wanted to leave a comment on your Where Are You From? post but could not find a place to comment. I know it is nuts, and I can not believe that people say Namaste? Seriously? WTF. I did not now you were from Jersey. Its funny when I lived in Seattle no one ever asked this if you were "American" looking, but in NY they do. People in NY are more into talking about where they "came from" no one ever asked me this the entire decade I was in Seattle but I was in NY for a visit and on a night out someone asked me if I was Irish but they did not mean was I born there, just asking about my ancestry.

  36. Just beautiful, Hena:) XOXO

PS Read your latest post. I just wanna say....my husband, born and bred here in Toronto, experiences the exact same thing from when he was a kid to this day. (I was born in the Philippines so I guess it's "easier" for me to answer the questions...) I think I'm gonna start asking white people who asks us these questions the same thing.

  37. A gorgeous scene! I can't wait until it is safe to travel again.
As an Asian person, I have always gotten the where are you from question. I just make up all sorts of answers now because NYC never seems to be a satisfactory answer O_o
