Overwhelmed

I had a feel bad days last week.. nothing bad happened.. life was going on as usual but to me it felt unbearable.. In fact we had a great weekend, took the boys to a haunted house and they did not freak out. M and I had a date night.. but I just couldn't push away the dark thoughts.. and then I felt so ungrateful.. I am so blessed.. what could I possibly be upset about. If you are out there feeling blue.. you are not the only one.. we all have our moments, days..  

I'm good now.. just thought I'd check in and share.

  5. I can certainly relate to that Hena, as I've been having these off-kilter days as well. And it's good to know I'm not the only one. I've been blaming it on the time of year, and it having been dismal and dark outside. I'm sure it will pass, and that this week will be a better one for you! Sending hugs xxx

  7. Ah yes I feel like this often, but with me it is not surprising as I faced a lot of hardship in life and do not have a lot in life either. And the world itself seems like it is going off a cliff. But in your case it could be hormonal, this happens to me as well. Also my advice? Do not watch the news and stay off social media for while or least sites that are about current events.

  15. Sorry you had a bad day despite everything fun going on - some days can be like that, don't be too hard on yourself! If every day was joyful we'd never appreciate it! :)

  17. I've been meaning to comment here for ages, when I first read your post. I hope you are feeling better today. Our lives are so busy, it is difficult to carve out time to reflect and just be. Life can be unbearable even under the most privileged circumstances. I sometimes think I should not allow dark thoughts in my life because really, my life is good. But then I think if I break my leg, it is still painful no matter how privileged I am and that also applies to my mental health. I hope I make any sense! Have a good weekend x
