Dress Shopping

I don't do dresses very often. I have a few that I whip out on special occasions but nothing really fancy. A few months ago M had an office party and for the first time spouses were invited and there I was with nothing to wear. I dress sort of modestly.. no plunging necklines, no bare legs.. if it's a short dress I'd usually where tights underneath.. nothing backless.. which makes dress shopping hard and I end up usually not buying or wearing. But after the office party I decided to always keep an eye out for something, always have a dress or two hanging in the closet especially for occasions like these..

This black and white dress is so pretty. It simple and classic and the lace detail makes it really stand out.

 

This pink and white one is similar to the one above, but I like the flowing fabric and it is a more daytime summery vibe to it

These two are simply gorgeous.. I love the color, the lace detail, the flowy skirt.. I wish I had somewhere fancy enough to wear these.. I need to get invited to a wedding or a gala or something.. stat! first dress and second dress. With all the beautiful dresses I have to say this one is my favorite. It is long and flowy which I guess you can tell is something I like. The 3/4 sleeves and neckline fit the bill for what I'm looking for. I can dress it up or down and it's not so fancy I'd never get a chance to wear it. We have got a WINNER!
