Shroom Climbing was taken a few autumns ago on the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire. Kancamagus meaning The Fearless One. It is a 26.5 mile long scenic byway along Route 112 which runs through the White Mountains. Along the stunningly scenic route there are no gas stations, no eateries just pure nature. Scattered along the two lane byway are parking areas, view points, hiking trails, rivers and gorges. On one of our many hikes through the White Mountain I came across this gorgeous growth of chocolate brown mushrooms at the foot of a mint green mossy tree. I was mesmerized.

That is so neat. If you hadn't explained it, I would have maybe thought it was a mountain covered in shrubs or honestly, a salad.

We either don't things like that here or I just don't see them, so it is always fun to see them when we travel!
