Enter Gavin: charming, talented, adored. Controlling. Dangerous. When Grace and Gavin fall in love, Grace is sure it's too good to be true. She has no idea their relationship will become a prison she's unable to escape. Thoughts - This was a very important read, a kind of It Ends with Us for young adults. It is so hard to identify being in an abusive relationship especially when you are dating some so hot and popular, charismatic, someone you should be lucky even noticed you. And once you realize you are in a bad relationship how do you get out of it? I enjoyed the book, like the way it was written in retrospect, the fut

And so begins Winnie's story of her life on a small island outside Shanghai in the 1920s, and other places in China during World War II, and traces the happy and desperate events that led to Winnie's coming to America in 1949. Thoughts - This wasn't a really long book.. but sometimes it felt really long. Based in China during and before World War II it was not always fun to read about all the horrors people have to live through during war. But add all the
