Spider a glorious, large and slightly creepy spider sculpture made of bronze, stainless steel and marble by French artist Louise Bourgeois named Maman outside the Museum of Art in Ottawa, Canada.   1. haunting! i am actually terrified of spiders and there seems to be a lot of them hanging out around our home! eep! this sculpture will certainly give me the chills! :)

  2. Oh wow! That's really interesting.
    A few weeks ago I was in Seattle and painted on top of one of the art galleries (seen from the Space Needle) was two very large spiders. They looked like sculptures like this though...they were painted to have a 3-D quality. I'm not a fan of spiders, but they make for great art!
