Our Trip to the Circus

Pictures do no justice to the awesomeness we saw, it was perfect. D's mouth hung open, eyes wide is awe; at other times he was jumping up and down dancing to the music. I think I spent more time watching him than the actual performers. Pure joy.

It was almost a 3 hour show.. 13 tigers, 8 elephants (who i noticed are comfortable taking a dump while they perform) 8 horses, a few bunnys and poodles.. so many poodles (they were surprisingly one of my favorites) Gone are the days of beer bellied clowns, everyone was young and fit, most performances were dance centric.

There were acrobats, tightrope artists, trampoline artists (one of my favorite performances) and the incredible spinning rings performance.. wow.

Such an amazing experience..

p.s thank you for all your wonderful comforting words on my last post. I am feeling so much better now. :)

  8. That looks so much better than the circus I took our daughter to a few years ago - it was scary and seemed low budget. Bad. That pic is so cute, he is so into it!
